About The Time Travelers
The Time Travelers is an Astronomy EdTech company dedicated to reconnecting people with the cosmos. Founded by Abubaker Shekhani, the pioneer of amateur astronomy in Pakistan, The Time Travelers blends science, art, and exploration to make astronomy accessible, inspiring, and unforgettable.
What We Do
We organize Astronomy expeditions to pristine dark-sky locations, giving participants the chance to witness the Milky Way in its full glory, observe planets through powerful telescopes, and learn the stories written in the stars.
Beyond the stars, we are passionate advocates for Dark Sky Preservation in collaboration with the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA) and our Dark Sky advocate Abubaker Shekhani, working to protect the night skies from light pollution.
Through our short astronomy courses for schools and homeschoolers—designed by Abubaker Shekhani—students experience hands-on learning through activities, observations, and creative projects that spark curiosity and critical thinking.
